LOWER INFLAMMATION

Most people don’t realise how many chemicals and toxins our bodies are exposed to on a daily basis. That creates a, largely unnecessary, burden on the network of systems (including the immune system) operating within the body. Teaching you how to lower exposures in your food and within the home is a pivotal element in recovery and maintenance of good health. I will arm you with the information and tools you need to make powerful choices about the environment you are healing in.

CRAVINGS

Very few people realise how much sugar is consumed daily beyond the obvious sweet snacks and desserts. Or that sugar catalyses sugar – the more we eat the more we crave. When we remove nutritionally bankrupt sugars from the diet and replace it with whole fruits and vegetables, fibre, protein, greens and healthy fats like olive oil, nuts, avocado and even homemade dark chocolate (yes, I’ll teach you how) you will feel results. AND it won’t feel like you’re punishing or depriving yourself. In a lot of ways, it will feel effortless. 

 

EAT FOR SATIETY

Our bodies are very clever and they are designed to keep us alive. Essential biochemistry tells us that until our cells have received what they need to run their functions they will continue to drive us toward hunger. It’s not actually that you’ve got no will power. Until they receive what they require they will ALWAYS override self-restraint. It’s quite literally a survival mechanism to avoid famine and starvation. Therefore, equally important, is the concept of satiety.  Defined as the quality or state of being fed. In this programme I teach you how to set up your day with high quality, nutrient dense meals, filled with protein, fibre and healthy fats so that you feel balanced and satisfied (both between and after meals). This is because your cells are moving from depleted state toward the healing and replenishing state possible when they’re receiving all the necessary ingredients to run their processes effectively in a body and mind that can THRIVE!

ENERGY

At any given time, our body has two choices for energy production. Fat or glucose. Through my approach you will start to learn which to utilise and when. As the body learns to employ more effective and diverse energy sources it begins to convert energy in a more productive way. Breaking the roller coaster of energetic spikes and crashes you’ll start to feel more nurtured, less bloated, more balanced and discover and state of calm, renewable energy that you can harness however you wish.
